2013 Shimano and PRO product highlights

Just in case you missed checking out the 2013 Shimano  line up at Expocycle this past weekend, here are a few highlights.

The three biggest “WOW – Shimano did it again!” highlights.

JRHunterSports Di2 2013 Shimano Group

“WOW – Shimano did it again – 2013”

1. Dura Ace 9070 Di2

  • Lighter, smaller, cleaner looking and more modular that allows for more options and more personalized settings for each rider.

2. Dura Ace 9000

  • Lighter smoother operation
  • Faster shorter throw for the front shifter with dramatic reduction in effort necessary to shift.
  • Smoother acting and more powerful brakes due to new PTFE cable coating and duel symmetric pivot brake calipers

3. Shimano Road shoes go on a diet and have a new Dynalast sole

  • New carbon and resin Dynalast soles not only make the shoes lighter than previous generations but help reduce fatigue while riding.
  • Great looking uppers and a choice of colours.

“Breaking loss is the unwanted loss of power that occurs between the crank angles of 200° and 360° in the back spin direction of a pedal stroke. Shoes incorporating Shimano Dynalast help to reduce breaking loss by promoting smother more efficient pedaling. If you want to reduce fatigue, get the most out of your legs, and go the extra mile, ride Shimano Dynalast.”
